About
This course is for those that have taken a DNA test and need help analyzing results. In this course we will explore the LEEDS method where we take 90cM-400cM matches and sort them into grandparent groups (a total of four groups). Secondly, we will explore Auto Cluster (or your shared matches matches), analyzing which grandparent category the matches match belongs to (lower cMs indicate more distant matches), and lastly we will apply the matrix-clustering method. Here we find clusters within clusters. This is where we analyze how our matches matches are related to each other. By exploring the techniques and using them to discover how you are related to a distant cousin, you will be able to identify ancestors that were otherwise unidentified because of a lack of historical documentation.
